Know of a pharmacy no longer providing EC? Has the pharmacy's contact information changed? Please let us know.
EC Pharmacy Locations

In Alaska, California, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Vermont and Washington, laws allow women to get EC directly from a pharmacy without first going to a doctor or clinic. Use the ‘Choose State’ menu below to locate a pharmacy near you.

The pharmacies listed on this website should have at least one pharmacist specially trained to provide EC directly to women without a prescription from their doctor or clinic. Always call ahead before visiting an EC pharmacy to make sure the EC pharmacist is on duty.

Choose State:

If you are unable to find a participating pharmacy nearby,

  • Visit www.not-2-late.com to find the closest EC provider near you.
  • Visit www.GO2EC.org to see what is being done to bring EC pharmacy access to your state.

Emergency Contraception may work up to 5 days after unprotected sex, but is more effective the sooner you take it (ideally within 24 hours).
